Walt Harris Gets Extension
A day after the 49ers signed three new players for their defense, they turned around and locked up Pro Bowl cornerback Walt Harris for another two years. The deal is not official at this time as they wait for Harris’ John Hancock. With this extension the 49ers have their corners set for a few more years. Spencer is signed through 2012 and Clements signed the 8-yr deal.
Spencer and Harris will compete for the starting corner spot opposite Clements.

This was a GREAT MOVE!!!!! Now all we have to do is draft a corner in the second or third round (depending on available talent level of other positions) and our secondary should be pretty set…..NOW FOR OUR FRONT SEVEN!!
This is good also. A strong secondary is key for a great defense. Walt Harris played his ass off this past year.

He is an up and coming linebacker…if we sign him and porter then we definitely are going dline or wide out because unless we sign Stallworth (who reportedly wants us to make him an offer) We are ACTUALLY going to need a receiver now.
I dont see why he needs to wait for his agent, john hancock, he shuould be able to make up his own mind…

Hey Mark Spencer doesn’t suck. Hey fans don’t forget about LB Roderick Green. The guy didn’t even start and still came way with 5 sacks. I only watched him play once and he had 2 sacks against the sorry ass cardinals. We DO have some play makers on the roster but Nolan must let them play to how they are best at. . Green can’t cover well but he can put pressure on the qb all day. All we need is 2 DE’s from the draft and then we are cool.

Spencer doesnt suck…he will be a better nickleback….he has very good blitzing skills and covering the 3rd WR on the other team is and advantage to us…and im loving how both of are cornerback sides looks….NATE on one side and WALT on the other…SHUTDOWN!!
