Kwame Lowlights Hit SF Media
The video that a close friend to us made highlighting the lowlights of tackle Kwame Harris finally hit the San Francisco media. Here is tidbit on what the Mercury News had to say about it, follow the link at the end to read the full story.
An armchair critic has it in for 49ers tackle Kwame Harris.
Posted under the screen name freemedia77 on YouTube.com is a nearly 10-minute “lowlight” film of some of Harris’ worst moments in the 2006 season.
It opens with him missing a block on a sweep against Minnesota, allowing a defender to throw Frank Gore for a loss. Other clips show Harris being called for holding, negating a long touchdown pass from Alex Smith to Antonio Bryant in the opener against Arizona and being beaten for a sack by Chicago defensive lineman Mark Anderson.

HE’S GOT POTENTIAL HE’S NO JOHNSON BUT HTE GUY CAN BE DANGEROUS, AND HE SHOWS DEDICATION. IF HE’S NOT SPEEDY WE CAN JUST THROUGH IT IN THE END ZONE TO HIS TALL FRAME. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE JOHNSON, BUT HE’S OPTION NUMBER TWO. A RISK WOULD BE THAT SHORT ASSS GINN OR SOMEONE AT RECEIVER WITH NO HEIGHT ABOVE 6’3. YOU MUST BE 6’3 OR ABOVE TO BE TAKEN REALLY SERIOUSLY AT RECEIVER. THEIR ARE SOME UNDER BUT GETTING RARE THESE DAYS. GETTING BIGGER AND TALEER AT THAT POSITION. THE MOST SUCESSFUL ARE TALL! Not that any of us die hard 49er fans needed any convincing on the subject. THIS GUY SUCKS ASS!!!! Regardless of any of the moves the team has made to better itself…the offense will still suffer if this cancer remains with the team. He can’t pull, he can’t block but he sure in the hell knows a little bit about holding to negate anything positive the offense can do! Maybe he just doesn’t like Alex Smith, that might explain why he (Harris) doesn’t seem to give a damn about protecting him. I say package the ass with a couple of 4th rounders to move up in the draft and get a replacement for this ass. When the 49ers drafted him I was like’ Hell yeah, this guy is a damn mountain. I’m sure he’ll be the answer to protect our QB for years’…well, he’s a mountain alright…a mountain of steaming crap! PLEASE NOLAN, GET RID OF THIS GUY!!!!!

Harris has got to feel bad, I feel for him a little bit. But Im not forgiving his punk ass. I dont think a lowlight has been done before and now that it hit the media, Kwame has to be embarrassed. Lets hope he gets seriously motivated beause of this.

NINERS TO HONOR TRYOUT PROMISE
One of the contestants in a reality show that debuted on March 27 was hoping to get a tryout with an NFL team. Even though the program, titled The Great American Dream Vote, was cancelled by ABC after two sub-2.0 ratings performances, a league source tells us that the 49ers, who were lined up to give the guy a tryout if he had won the contest, will give him a tryout anyway.
Per the source, 43-year-old Jim Davis, who has said he can bench-press more than 500 pounds and run the 40 in 4.5 seconds, will get a look-see from the Niners on April 20, in conjunction with the team’s assessment of local players who are not expected to be drafted on April 28 and 29.
The premise of the show was to let ordinary people make the case for the fulfillment of their dreams, with the studio audience and viewers whittling down the contestants, in American Idol style. The show was hosted by Donny Osmond.
