It’s not like D-Jax can’t pass on some knowledge? He’s at least got something in common with Jason Hill, seeing that he took the time to go see him in action up in Washington. Plus D-Jax acts like 100x the professional that MEShawn does. For the most part, at this point Keyshawn would just be playing to pad his own stats as opposed to really wanting to help someone.

I think we made the right decision because the Colts are going to have a huge bullseye on their back the entire season, plus they play in an extremely tough division. I think Nolan wanted to have a first rounder next year and still get Joe Staley. Think of Staley as our second rounder now because we have our first rounder next year from the Colts, but we gave ours to the Pats. We have a much easier schedule than the colts do. The Colts have way more problems than we do because they will be all offense and no defense. They lost too many players on defense. So if they play someone with a good defense AND a good offense they are in trouble.

yeah Ryan I agree with you.. Indy lost WAY too many key pieces to their super bowl squad..both CBs, Cato June, Mike Doss, Montae Reagor; not to mention Brandon Stokley and Dominic Rhodes on offense. Add also the fact that their rival the Pats are completely reloaded, and every team in the AFC south got a little bit tougher, AND, just like Ryan said, they’re in every team’s crosshairs..So to me, it was an excellent move by Nolan, getting back into the first round.
And one more thing:the AFC, being the more nt conference(not for long) have quite a few teams who have good offense AND defense(even though they’re obviously not gonna play every team in the AFC)
